Are your right for the network marketing business?
To answer that question, here is a list of things to consider to become a successful network marketer.
- Do you like working with people?
This is a people oriented industry. To be successful in the network marketing you have to be comfortable talking with lots of people in many different situations. The only way you will build this business is to expand your comfort zone and have fun talking to a lot of people. - Be Teachable
Every network marketing company has a system. Be teachable: Learn yours and use it. Counsel with your leaders about what to say and how to say it. Follow the system... the people in your company who earn more money in a week than most folks earn in a year use the system. Don't try to re-invent the wheel. - Be Consistent
Decide how much time you are able to spend building your network marketing business and then consistently work that amount of time each day. If your commitment is one hour a day, work one hour a day... not five hours on Friday. Consistency is the key. - Be Patient
Building a network marketing business is like any other business. You have to give it time. Find a good business that you sincerely believe in and give your new business at least two or three years to succeed. You will hear stories about those network marketers who earned a skillion dollars in thirty-seven hours. They most likely came from a different company and already knew "the ropes". Steady, consistent, honest commitment will get you to the six figure income level. Be patient and don't give up. - Attend Company Trainings
Every good network marketing company provides excellent training programs, either on DVD, through tele-conferences or in person. If you want to be successful in this business, you must be willing to participate in the trainings. And, most importantly, incorporate what you learn into your daily operations. - Have Fun
Guess what? No one is looking for another job. While building your network marketing business, be sure you are having a great time! Our industry offers time freedom and financial freedom... and it is structured so we have fun gaining those advantages. We get to choose who we work with. We get to set our own hours. We get to earn what we're worth, with no financial ceiling. You should always have a smile on your face... this industry is fun! - Work
There are no free rides. If anyone tells you that network marketing is a quick, easy way to become a millionaire, you know that person has not built a prosperous, successful business. This industry won't work for you unless you work it. You must devote time and effort to it, especially in the beginning. Network marketing can pay enormous dividends... but you have to work for them.
