Everyone is looking for "The Secret"...
Lots of people are looking for "THE ideal network marketing idea" that will explode their business.
Well, I think I've found it. It's called the G.A.P.
"Mind The Gap", they say in Europe. "Fall into the Gap", they say at that clothing company. "Place a gap between stimulus and response" was promoted by Victor Frankl.
Re-think each of those phrases, using G.A.P. as an acronym for Gain A Perspective.
When you gain a perspective about your home based business... to building your network marketing company... everything looks different.
OK, so you made 40 calls this week and only got 5 positive responses. Was that a negative experience? NO! You are perfecting your prospecting presentation and you have 5 new people who are open to hearing more about your network marketing business opportunity. Gain a Perspective.
You've been working on building your a legitimate home based business for five years, but you still aren't financially able to retire from your J.O.B. Is network marketing not working for you? Of course it is! You are building a foundation from which your business will flourish. If your business is growing slowly, odds are great that YOU are moving slowly. Want to build it faster? Do what your fast moving upline leaders are doing... Gain a Perspective.
When your best friend says NO to your network marketing business opportunity are you really out anything? NO! You didn't have that person in your business before you made the call. You are no worse off now than you were before... that person who told you "no" was not in your business BEFORE you made the call... and s/he is not in your business now. Have you lost anything? Of course not. Gain a Perspective.
Apply the G.A.P. to building a fantastically successful home based business opportunity. Let me know how it changes your perception!
When choosing your new home based venture, make sure you don't base your decision solely on the potential income. Instead, choose ideas that you would enjoy doing, or have a strong interest in learning and doing, because you'll be spending a lot of time doing them. Of course, income potential should be considered, but definitely should not be the sole reason for choosing a type of home business.
